Mary Wrinch was a Canadian artist who created beautiful landscapes of Toronto scenery, influenced by impressionism. The Muskoka collection is inspired by Mary Wrinch, and her love of the outdoors, with an aim to encapsulate the essence of Toronto nature as it uses elements, plants, and birds found in either Muskoka Ontario or Wychwood Park, Toronto. These prints revolve around being immersed in Canadian nature and capturing everything that surrounds you.

This upholstery print is inspired by Mary Wrinch and her Bloodroot prints, this print aims to capture the essence of the bloodroot flower, as well as the high bush cranberries. These flowers are also found in Wychwood Park, which is why this print will be for those who enjoy nature's bright pops of colour.


Reflection

This tufted rug takes inspiration from Mary Wrinch’s later block prints. The landscape and pine trees are directly taken from Muskoka, Ontario. The mirrored landscape depicts the scene from both sides of the rug, allowing those to walk around the room and still have the same perspective.
